Internal uses:
It has been used for colds, flu, bronchitis, pneumonia, fevers and other respiratory ailments. It has also been used for dysmenorrheal, amenorrhea, spasmodic pain, dyspnea, pain, inflammatory rheumatism, tuberculosis, acute dysentery, kidney troubles, colic, dysentery, scrofula, ulcers and wounds.
Interactions:
Interacts with heart medications including: Acebutolol, Antidipine, Atenol, Beta-Adrenergic Blockers, Betaxolol, Bisoprolol, Calcium-channel blockers, Digoxin, Felodipine, Labetalol, Lotrel, metoprolol, Nifedipine, Proptanol, Sorqloi, Verapamil. May be beneficial if taking Nadolol.
For colds, flu, other respiratory complaints, and pleurisy (a swelling and irritation of the membrane that surrounds the lungs).
